Those damn kids are still tp-ing the tree--in the middle of the day while I'm here.  It's not funny anymore.  I wish I could catch the little pricks jerks in the act.  It's almost as if it's being done by mischievous, invisible pixies.   

On the bright side, though, I don't have to buy toilet paper for a while...

I decided today was going to be a "clean-a-little-draw-a-lot-day."  I have ideas for new quilts and I have to get them down on paper.  Space is limited in this ol'cranium.

Since I haven't posted any crafty stuff lately, I will post my preliminary sketches once I have some.  Hopefully there will be a few to post tomorrow.

Star Power

Here's a little pin I made for the shop.  I realized that I need to make small stuff to fill in the gaps of time between my bigger projects. 

Lucy in the Sky has been sold!  Yay!  Only two days on the market. 

I don't know why Black Bird hasn't sold.  It's actually my favorite of all I have made thus far.  Maybe I should take new pics of it.

Sooo, I have to go to the Post Office today to send of Lucy...on the busiest mail day of the year...Ugh.

I still haven't gotten much (hardly any) shopping done for Christmas.  I can't wait until the holidays are over.   It's very out of character for me to feel like this.  Usually, I'm playing carols and baking cookies, but this year I am just so...blah.  Maybe I'll feel better after I get some shopping done.  There's nothing under my dying tree right now, so maybe that's why the spirit has escaped me.

The only two gifts I've purchased so far are through etsy.  I'm going to post pics of them later, and provide links to the stores and blogs.  They are very lovely items! 

She's finished!

Alright.  I need to either a.) get a new camera or b.) learn to use the one I already have.  Especially with the dull winter days, I am finding it very hard to get decent pictures of my projects.  Today was no exception.  I asked Santa (my husband) for a tri-pod and lamps for Christmas so that I can take better pictures of my sellables.  Let's see if he remembers...

Anyhow, griping aside, her she is!  (The name of this piece is, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.")

There are more pictures of her (and some close-ups) at my shop.  (What a clever way to lead you to my wares...)

More to come!  I have some new ideas bouncing in my head.

Excuse the crappy photo.  I'm asking for a tri-pod and adequate lighting for Christmas.  (I really want a new camera, but the husband made me feel guilty for wanting a new one when my current one works fine...or, at least, it would work fine if I knew how to use it.)

Back to the future quilt.  I'm working hard on it and hope to have it done soon.  This is just the background, btw.

This one's not a knitting project, but a quilt for my shop.  Right now it's in the very early stages, but here's a peek at my rough design and a mountain of possible fabrics in the background. 

I'm going to be going for an art nouveau look.  You'll see.

Wow! I'm on a Roll!

Today I finished my "Day of the Dead" mini quilt!  :)  Woo-hoo!  I'm getting quick, huh?  It's already up on my shop, and can be found...right...here.  (Although he looks angry, he's actually very sweet!)
